Let us put this in perspective. The 3 largest markets for console sales are America, Europe and Japan.
Americans and Europeans buy PS3's, Wii's and 360's.
The Japanese only buy PS3's and Wii's.
The vast majority of 360 sales are in America and Europe. Even with the Wii's huge success, if you remove Japan from any sales data. Then the 360 is still number one in hardware sales.

The 360 has been an enormous success, and continues to be the platform of choice for developers and consumers.
The CoD4 map pack is cheaper on Xbox Live. It only costs £6.80.
This applies to all content available on both the PSN and Xbox Live.
Microsoft do not need a price cut.

The 360 has the best online service
Also Microsoft treat all markets with respect. With better value hardware/software and no games delayed/denied release. As it stands, Robert Mugabe and his Zanu PF party would treat European/American markets better than Sony.
The PS3 fans biggest excuse for not getting the 360 version and downloadable content is because "nobody really finishes GTA anyway"
Why get GTA IV, did you finish San-Andreas 100%?
